Living in the Moment
Having appreciated the art of photography for years, I hesitated to join this expression because I thought I had to first educate myself and learn the technical aspects. I can be an over-thinker, a perfectionist who wants to do everything "right". I am abundantly grateful for the quality of digital cameras that make it easy to take an incredible shot with little technical knowledge. I realize now that a majority of the art is in stopping long enough to recognize something gorgeous. Sometimes it's not even about stopping, it's simply about paying attention to what we see and experience. Sometimes it's about looking at something that we recognize a certain way and setting that preconceived view aside and seeing it differently.
Photography is a self-expression. It is a mirror into the photographer's view and thoughts. Every time I share a photo, I am inviting you to know me. Find a professional photographer who shoots extraordinary nature scenes and you are likely to find a person who's bliss is nature. Find a person who captures the divine in a child's face and you will find a person who loves children. My current passion is living in the moment every day. What does a photo of "living in the moment" look like? I don't know, yet I am excited and I hope you will join me on the journey to discovery!

into." ~ Ansel Adams "The photograph itself doesn't interest me. I want only to capture a minute part of reality." ~ Henri Cartier Bresson "Sometimes I do get to places just when God's ready to have somebody click the shutter." ~ Ansel Adams |

"While there is perhaps a province in which the photograph can tell us nothing more than what we see with our own eyes, there is another in which it proves to us how little our eyes permit us to see." ~ Dorothea Lange "Photography is a self-expression. It is a mirror into the photographer's view and thoughts. Every time I share a photo, I am inviting you to know me." ~ Carin G. Aichele |
